SUNDAY CONVERSATION:  Waiting: An Act of Faith 

One of the attributes of God is patience. Patience is listed with those character  traits commonly referred to as the Fruit of the Spirit, the specific aspects of godliness that reveal how infused we are with His Spirit  (Galatians 5).  So how are you doing with patience…with that long traffic light that seems like it will never change…with that person on I-295 in the left lane doing 60mph…with your co-worker (or boss)…with family members…with (fill in the blanks).  Compared to the issue of reconciling the world to Himself through redemption and salvation (which demands infinite patience), our stuff is very small potatoes.  The question is how faithful (patient) are we being with the “potatoes” we’ve been given.
