SUNDAY CONVERSATION: A Saving Grace

No one ever accused the Apostle Paul of being a “warm and fuzzy,” although his reputation for bluntness is probably a little overstated. Nevertheless, there are occasions in his writings and in his interactions with some folks where a first reaction might be to flinch. An example is Ephesians 2:1 where he says, “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” You might want to ask what he means, but there’s really not much doubt as to what he’s getting at. This week’s discussion is a study in comparing and contrasting that reminds us that grace has substance.

See the Connection Points page for information on dates and times of the other occasions in which we experience community.
